This is my attempt to create a Ghibli Stylized Artwork from Unreal Engine 5. I learn a lot of the techniques & skills from Youtube (probably the best source of knowledge to learn Unreal Engine). I also studied a lot of the famous UE art on Artstation & 80lv. Most of the techniques are available on the internet, you just need to know where to search for them (and what they are called). I recommend taking a look at PrismaticaDev on Youtube, he is amazing & his videos are on point (80% of the technique I learn from his videos alone). Also William Faucher in case you need to learn about lighting in UE.
The Ghibli/Anime style foliage is very interesting because it's 3D modeled but you need to find a way to make it look 2D, which is the most time-consuming part, you also need to make it fluffy and cel shade.
All the "moving" detail are done in the material editor by adjusting the world position offset of the material, which is so convenient.
All that aside, most of the results come just from artistic skill, ie. what color to choose, and what type of lighting,... so gathering tons of Ghibli & Anime references helps.
Some of the models I download from Sketchfab.
